  • What is dpi?
    Abbreviation of dots per inch, which indicates the resolution of images. The more dots per inch, the higher the resolution. A common resolution for laser printers is 600 dots per inch. This means 600 dots across and 600 dots down, so there are 360,000 dots per square inch. For best photo quality make sure your photos are saved at the highest dpi base (at least 400 dpi) to get the best photo quality.

  • What is the best color format to save my .jpg or .tif file in?
    Please color your graphics in CMYK in order to produce the best replication of what is seen on your computer monitor.

  • When I upload my file the cart keeps running, why?
    Because your file is BIG. Please be patient, as long as the file is 50MB or less it will finish but could take up to 10 minutes to complete the upload.

  • When will I get my copies?
    All copies are usually shipped out of our office within 48 hours. This does not include weekends or holidays or if your file is not printable (bad graphic, etc.). Once it leaves our headquarters it is up to the delivery service you choose such as overnight or free ground shipping.

  • Why isn't paper included for 18 cents?
    We charge 18 cents for color copies and 4 cents for black copies. We do not include any paper with the price of the color copies. We do include 20 lb. white paper with 8.5 x 11 black copies. You must choose upon checkout the paper that suits your needs. Paper prices range from a mere 1 cent to 8 cents per sheet. We offer paper that is 20lb, 24lb, 28 lb, 32lb, in an assortment of colors.   • Are these digital color copies?
    Yes, all color copies are printed directly from computer to copier making them digital copies.

  • Can I get my copies next day?
    Yes, just choose overnight shipping and add the rush charge to your order. Your order needs to be placed between Sunday and Thursday. All rush orders must be placed by 2pm Central Standard Time to go out same day.

  • What if I made in error in my file that I didn't notice until I received my copies?
    The best thing to do is to select "Insure My Order" during the ordering process. This low insurance fee will insure your copies for any errors you might have not seen. If it is not selected you will have to reorder your copies. The insurance only covers up to $250.00 worth of prints.

  • What do I do if there is a problem with my order?
    Please contact us by email or phone within 2 business days of the date of receiving your order. We will correct any issues with your order if contacted within this time frame and we are at fault.


  • What files do you accept?
    .PDF, .TIFF, .JPG, .PUB, .TXT, .WPS, .WRD .WKS, .QXD, .XLS.
    Please note: For all poster orders we only accept .jpg files.

    Please be aware that on Microsoft Office, or word art in Microsoft Publisher fonts are automatically substituted without our knowledge. If using non-standard fonts in these document types please convert your file into a pdf. We will not be liable for any font issues with a Microsoft Office or Publisher type files.

  • Can we get invoiced for our order?
    Unfortunatley at this time we do not invoice any orders. All orders must be paid for in advance. This helps keeps our costs down and insures a better price for you.

  • What papers do you offer?

  • Can you print to the edge of the page (full bleeds)?
    No, so leave 1/4" (.25") margin around edges of paper. We will not offer reprints for any documents that have text/picture cut offs due to a smaller than .25 margin. Please double check your margins before submitting your files.

  • Do you have any minimums?
    In order to get color copies at .18 pricing you need to order at least 30 copies.

  • What if I want to change my ship to address after completing the order process?
    Please call us at 1-800-792-8177 and an attendant will be happy to change it. However, if the order has been shipped already there will be a $16.00 to re-route it to a new address.

  • Why was I charged a $18.00 setup fee?
    There will be no setup charge if your file is print ready. If any work needs to be done to make your file print ready including resizing, pasting, editing, etc. there will be a $18.00 setup charge per file added to your order. Simply make sure your order is ready for print.

  • Can I get a proof before my job is copied?
    Sir Cooper does not send or fax proofs to its customers. This is one of the biggest questions that we receive. We do not need to fax or mail a proof to you because we are printing exactly what you sent us (your file.) If a program prompts us for a missing font we will install that font or ask you for it. Some companies want to do this and we believe it is simply a waste of time and money. By the time we fax you a copy, your order will have already been shipped. Plus read our guarantee of service and select insurance and this will further cover any mistakes.

  • Can I mail you a master to make copies from?
    Yes, but your copies will be produced at a much higher quality if we print directly from your digital files. If you send us a file to print from please mail to address listed on the Contact Us page. Include a detailed work order with your file.

  • Do you have a guarantee if I am not satisfied?
    Yes, please view our guarantee of service here.

  • What about your time guarantee?
    We guarantee that your order will leave our office within 48 hours on all orders under 2000 copies and does not need any type of finishing (folding, stapling, etc). This does not apply to business card orders. Please allow up to seven business days for your business card order to ship out.

  • Do you keep credit cards on file?
    At Sir Cooper, we do not keep any credit card information on file. So when you re-order you must re-enter all credit card information.

  • Do you accept orders by email?
    Yes! We would like all customers to order directly online through our shopping cart system. It is faster for you and we will keep you updated on your order process. If ordering by email, simply send an email with all the details of your order to mail@sircooper.com. A rep will call you back within 1 hour of getting the file to confirm and bill the order by phone.

  • Will you print a test/sample for free?
    At Sir Cooper, we do not print test copies or proofs. If you would like a test copy or proof please order 1 or 2 copies online through our cart system.

  • How big of a file can I send online?
    Online you can send a file up to 50MB. If your file is larger than 50MB, simply attach your file to an email and send to mail@sircooper.com. Include all pertinent information including quantity of copies, type of paper and shipping address. Please include your phone number so an account representative can call you back with billing information. If your file is too big for your email account provider to send please call us at 1-800-792-8177 to arrange for FTP instructions.

  • How do I order?
    We encourage everyone to order online by going to www.sircooper.com and clicking on ORDER NOW. By placing your order online, this will allow you to have accurate shipping prices, frequent updates to your account describing the process of your order, and shipping tracking numbers.

  • How do I know when my order has been shipped?
    Every order is shipped with a tracking number. We will update your sircooper account with all details regarding your order. All accounts are updated via email as well.

  • What type of copiers will my order be printed on?
    At Sir Cooper, we only use the best possible copiers. Currently we are using Canon, Panasonic for color copies and Panasonic, Mita for black copies.

  • Are these quality color copies?
    Yes, of course. Our copies are guaranteed to be of top quality. Please read our guarantee of service here.

  • Why are your color copies so cheap?
    The question should be why do companies like your local print shop, office supply stores and Kinkos charge you so much. We priced out our cost per copy and by keeping our costs down and our overhead low we are able to put out a lot of copies for a lower for our customers.

  • Will you make copies from my own paper that I can send you?
    At this time, Sir Cooper only prints on our available stock paper that must be purchased from our store.
